My Role/Event Overview: My event co-host and I provided two hours of food, music, and cocktails on a sunny Friday evening. This Jungle Oasis pool party had empanadas, plantain chips, chips and salsa, two cocktails (margaritas and palomas), a DJ, and two pool floats. Residents showed up excited for this event after previous rain rescheduling, and we decorated the space from head to toe, including the tent exterior, for an immersive experience.

Outcome: Residents loved the cocktails and saved the leftovers in to-go containers. We served all of the empanadas and most of the sides. The kids enjoyed the leopard floatie throughout the event, and they were happy they got to keep it. Close to 100 people came, and a few of them even paid for the DJ to stay for another hour.
