Creating clarity at checkout.

The Challenge
With multiple promotional offers and changing costs, customers needed a clearer understanding of what was included in their purchase, what they would pay, and when charges would apply.
The challenge was to make complex order details easier to navigate at a critical point in the customer journey.
My Role & Approach
I refined the order summary's content strategy and information hierarchy, building on the two-category structure I developed for the product card redesign.
I reorganized plan details and promotional information into consistent groups, creating a clearer connection between how customers evaluate their options and how they review their purchases at checkout.
A Key Design Decision
I focused on distinguishing what customers receive from the financial details of their purchase, making promotional benefits and payment timing easier to understand.
This approach helped establish a more consistent content structure across product selection and checkout.
Looking Ahead
I also identified an opportunity to make the value of a customer's selected plan more transparent. I proposed a follow-up initiative where I'd distinguish between value and savings before the total amount due, helping customers understand both what they're being gifted and what they're actively saving. This would make the financial benefits of each purchase even easier to interpret.
